Let’s pretend that I posted this on Sunday, because that is the date that is was really supposed to go up.
I have been wanting to find a way to hone in on the things that I really want to do with my life and found the idea to make a list of 101 things to do in 1001 days on another blog. With a little bit more searching I found a blog dedicated to lists of this kind. Feeling that my life was getting a little stagnant, I decided to start making my own list. I got some ideas from the lists that other people had made, but it took me a long time to compile my own. Not everything on the list will be something that I have never done before, some of them are things that I just haven’t done in a long time or often enough. I like that I have 1001 days to accomplish all 101. Some of the goals will take a little bit of time to accomplish, some will take a lot of time. Many of them are just made to help me focus my energy on things I really want to do, see or accomplish and to manage the time I do have better. I will keep you updated on my progress!
Please join me in making a list if you would like to. I think it would be fun to see what other people come up with.

I love this idea. I can help you with at least one on your list, maybe we can swap. I’ll have to start a list of my own. I’ve been inspired by a cute book- 100 Places You Have to See Before You’re 12. Similar idea. I’ll correct it if that’s not the exact title. It has more ideas of great places to see and things to do.
Congratulations, Stacy! This is a great list (especially since I notice a few of my ideas on here, I must say). 🙂 I’m very glad to welcome you as a 101 Things convert. Make sure to post regular updates…they’re a great way to hold yourself accountable!

[…] February 2, 2009 by stacydesigns Remember back in June when I set a goal to do 101 Things in 1001 Days. It has been a lot of fun. I have had a little more guidance for what to do with my free time and I feel like I am actually accomplishing goals. I have found that it has been nice to have a lot of little goals to choose from with a longer period of time to actually get them done. The original list is here. […]
