I had an experience the other day that made me more grateful for the lessons that I was taught as a child and for the things that I am striving to create for my family now.
I am grateful that I was taught how to clean. That Saturday chores were not an option.
I am grateful that I feel better in the light and that I understand what darkness can mean.
I am grateful for a home where yelling and screaming is not how we talk to each other and a husband who does not raise his voice.
I am grateful for the desire to work and that we have the means to support our family.
I am grateful for education and the desire to learn and grow.
I am grateful for high standards that keep me out of trouble and make my life happier all around.
I am grateful that the children that we eventually bring into our family will be loved and cared for by both of us together.
I am grateful for a desire for good nutrition and health.
